Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Professional Certificate and other specialized programmes of the Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC), University of Lagos (UNILAG), for the academic session.

The Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) is a Training Centre of the University of Lagos with the mandate to develop and offer Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Professional Certificate and other specialized programmes aimed at capacity building, with strong linkages to professional bodies, for the benefit of the target groups in the public and private sectors of the economy.

The HRDC, UNILAG programmes attract candidates/employees from major organizations within and outside the country and the Centre has impacted in areas relevant to key employment sectors. Our Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and specialized programmes are domiciled in relevant academic departments, thereby guarantying high level of quality control in line with the University standard.

The products of HRDC programmes are well equipped professionally in their various fields of study and HRDC certificate is nationally and internationally recognized. How to Apply for UNILAG Diploma & Certificate Programmes Admission Form.

Applicants are expected to visit the HRDC portal hrdc.unilag.edu.ng to complete the pre-application form. (Contents of the pre-application form include Surname, First Name, Middle name, Next of Kin, E-mail Address and Mobile number).Upon successful completion of the pre-application form, the applicant will be issued a “Payment Reference Number” (RRR) which should be printed out.

Applicants should take their print out containing the payment reference number to any of the designated banks (Eco bank, Access Bank, First Bank, UBA, GTB and Wema Bank) on UNILAG, Akoka campus to make payment of N12,500.00

After payment, applicants should return to HRDC portal, click the application form link, login with the payment Reference Number and the Surname (in lower case and strictly as provided in the pre-application form) as password to access the application form.

Kindly note the following:

Apart from Social Development and Administration (SDA) and Human Kinetics and Health Education (HKHE) listed on Serial Nos. (1) and (2) which are full academic programmes and run on weekends, all other programmes are run on part time (weekend) only.
Only application payments by the bank will have access to the application form. Applicants who experience challenges may return to the bank where payment was made to request that their payment be posted. (Notification of payment receipt shall be sent to the e-mail addresses of applicants who have paid).
The password will be as provided in the Surname field in lower case; errors in filling of surname must therefore be reflected in the password used.
If payment is not made five (5) days after obtaining Payment Reference Number (voucher); the pre-application would be DECLINED. Applicants will then be expected to recomplete the pre-application form to obtain a new Payment Reference Number (voucher).
After completion of application form, click submit and also submit printed copies at the HRDC Secretariat not later than six (6) weeks from the date of this advert with the following documents:
- Two (2) photocopies of Birth Certificate and credentials
- Two (2) photocopies of Reference Number printout – Original and a photocopy of N12,500.00 teller
