How to Check NCEE Result

This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the 2022 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) selection tests for admission into Junior Secondary School (JSS 1) of Federal Government Unity Colleges, that the admission list is now available online.

Unity Colleges admission list has been uploaded on Federal Ministry of Education – National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) portal and also available on the notice boards in the colleges.

Below is a copy of the statement released by the Federal Ministry of Education:

Barely three days after the receipt of the results of the National Common Entrance Examination for admission into the country’s 110 Unity Colleges, the Federal Ministry of Education has released the first batch of merit-based admission into Unity Colleges in line with the directives of Education Minister, Adamu Adamu.

Receiving the results of the National Common Entrance from the chief examiner the Registrar of the National Examinations Council (NECO). Professor Godswil Obioma, the Minister directed that “within 72 hours of the receipt of the results principals are to complete both the merit-based (60%) and 30% equality of states admissions.

The results were transmitted to principals on November  by the Basic and Secondary Education Department of the Ministry, which is saddled with the responsibility.

Within the stipulated timeframe, both the merit-based and equality of States’ admissions are now ready.

Candidates are advised to check the admission list which will be posted on the website of the Ministry on Monday, the November,

Admission letters will be available for collection at the Unity Colleges on November

How to Check Common Entrance Exam Results Online.

Please note that you do not need to purchase a token. Simply fill in the required information (exam year, exam type, and registration number), and click on Check Result to view your ward’s result.

  1. Go to NECO results portal at  https://result.neco.gov.ng/.
  2. Select exam year i.e. 2024
  3. Select exam type i.e. National Common Entrance Examination.
  4. Supply your registration number in the required column.
  5. Finally, click on Check Result button to access the common entrance exam result.

OR

  1. Go to NCEE registration portal at https://ncee.neco.gov.ng/.
  2.  Login by supplying your Email/Phone Number and Password in the required columns.
  3. Click On Registered Candidates ›› Select Completed ›› then Click on the Respective Registered candidates to view result.

Note: According to the Acting Registrar, National Examination Council (NECO), Mr Abubakar Gana, admission into the Federal Government Unity Colleges would be based on 60 per cent for merit and 40 per cent for quota and others.

Federal Unity Colleges School Fees / Charges

Below are the breakdown of Federal Government Colleges School Fees academic Session.

According to the Minister of State for Education the Federal Government under the leadership of  President Muhammadu Buhari has reviewed downwards the charges in Unity Colleges from N83,000 to N49,500.

All Parents, Teachers, Parents, Students and the general public are therefore, expected to pay Forty-Nine Thousand Naira Only (N49,000:00) only as the Charges for theAcademic Session.

PTA Levy for all Federal Government Unity Colleges have been pegged at N5,000.

No school is allowed to charge more than the stipulated amount.

I think the previous site prior to the release of the 2020/ 21 was better because it has the examination no and candidate no to input candidate particulas but with the release of this new result , neco has made it impossible for the parents who did not register their wards by themselves on the online portal to check the result. I have tried for my daughter ,it is not working.
