WAEC Terms; Held Result
The chance of releasing this form of issue is almost zero.
This occurs for a particular student /students whose answer booklet has been commented on.
Often times, you may want to call it malpractice form.
Once the comment is made on your booklet and submitted, It will take only God to see your result.
Withheld WAEC Result
Whenever you hear of withheld WAEC result, you should think towards the direction of exam malpractice.
Withheld WAEC results don’t just happen like that.
It is specific for a particular WAEC centre.
This means that the results will not be released at the point of releasing general WAEC results for a particular subject.
This may be caused by the fact that students involved in malpractice most times and has same grades in the a particular subject or in the exam as a whole.
Therefore, such results will be seized and will not be released.
Although, note that they may later be released depending on who is at fault at the tail end.
In summary, the chances of them releasing the result is very small.
When a student has outstanding in some subjects, it means some of his marks weren’t recorded.
