– Single Hall For Exams In each Center

JAMB has announced that they will adopt a single hall system which will contain 250 functional 15 inch screen laptops or desktop computers.
Likewise, there will be provision of 25 backup systems.

In addendum to this, JAMB has announced that all centers should have at least 250 reception facilities to accommodate the 250 students who will write the same time.
What JAMB meant here was that candidates are expected to come to the exam venue at least an hour before their stipulated time.
These facilities will keep the candidates organized until it is their turn.
Back Up Power Supply
The main issue with the CBT exam has been computers tripping of as a result of either power or system malfunction.
They have adopted the provision of a back up power supply.
Among these are the generating set of minimum 40KVA for a center with 250 systems.
Likewise, the provision of Uninterrupted power Supply (UPS) and Inverter that can carry all 250 systems for a duration of 2hours at least.
Enclosed Exam Venue
All centers have been told to have an AC tight venue.
Air conditioners must be installed and the exam venue enclosed.
Likewise, the centers are advised to have an active antivirus as well as a minimum of windows 7.
This is expected to increase the focus of students writing the exam
– Security
A lot of JAMB runs lords fill the entrance to any JAMB exam venue.
They have seen that with adequate security, they can reduce their efforts.
Therefore, they have adopted the provision of adequate security.
Also, man power has been reduced as only about five technical personnel and 1 network engineer will be on site.
