Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Science offers a 4-year Programme leading to the award of the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in four Departments, namely:
(1) Biological Sciences with its three options:
- a) Animal & Environmental Science,
- b) Microbiology and
- c) Plant Biology and Biothechnology
(2) Chemistry
(3) Mathematics and
(4) Physics with its two options:
- a) Physics Electronics and
- c) Medical Physics.

Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences (FBCS) consists of 5 departments namely: Anatomic Pathology (Morbid anatomy and Histopathology), Chemical Pathology,Haematology, Microbial Pathology (Medical Microbiology and Parasitology) and Pharmacology and Therapeutics
Faculty of Nursing Science
The Faculty of Nursing Science of the University of Medical Sciences Ondo City, Ondo State is part of the academic division of the University. The Faculty of Nursing evolved in 2017 through the Mandate of the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu who instructed that the schools of Nursing and Midwifery be integrated with the then Department of Nursing Science which was under the Faculty of Allied Health.
ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
The Faculty of Nursing Science (FNS) is a degree awarding Faculty. The four Departments: and the four departments will contribute harmoniously to produce exceptional BNSc graduates. The Departments are:
Department of Adult Health (Medical, Surgical, Mental Health and Psychiatry Nursing)
Department of Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health Nursing
Department of Community Health Nursing
