The management and authorities of AKSU have released the admission list for the academic session.

Therefore, all candidates that choose AKSU as their first choice of institution, sat and passed the post UTME screening exercise can now go ahead to check their admission status right away.

See the procedure to check your admission status below:

• 1. Visit: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard
• 2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status,
• 3. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
• 4. Click on ‘Admission Status’ to see if you have been offered admission.

Candidates who have been offered admission are to proceed to click”ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate acceptance or rejection of the admission offer.

NB : Clicking”REJECT” is an indication that the offer of admission has been rejected by candidates

Step 2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the box provided and then

As at now, you can only access your AKSU admission status from JAMB admission status checking portal, follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Go jamb.org.ng/efacility.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
5. Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your AKSU admission status.

Successfully admitted candidates are advised to go to JAMB CAPS portal to ACCEPT or REJECT the offer —  How to Reject/Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS.

Not Yet admitted? Note that the Admission List will be published in batches as they are processed. Candidates are therefore advised to keep on checking online.

Candidates who did not upload their result as at the time of their JAMB application (Awaiting Result) should do so immediately by visiting any Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre nearest to them to upload their O’Level results on JAMB website.

School Fees Payment For Fresh Students

This is to inform all the newly admitted and returning students oft he Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) that the management of the institution has opened the portal for the payment of school fees for the academic session.

All admitted Students are to note that payments must be made on or before

How to Pay AKSU School Fees.

1. Visit www.portal.aksu.edu.ng.
2. Enter your JAMB registration number and the Access Code written on the Bio data form on the student login panel. (The Bio data is the form that was completed after payment of Acceptance fees).
3. On the dashboard, click PAYMENT to proceed. Select 100 level, then FIRST semester and click “PAY”
4. Select payment platform “BANK”
5. Print the pre-analysis and proceed to any commercial bank to make payment for school fees, using eTranzact platform.

AKSU Screening & Registration for New Students.

All First Year students and those who deferred admission in the  session are directed to go to their Faculties for screening and registration with the following documents:

• Acceptance fee and school fee receipts
• Original and photocopies of the result(s) tendered for admission
• On-line computer print-out of O’Level Statements of Results (Note that Statements of Results from schools/institutions will not be accepted)
• JAMB Admission Letter
•  JAMB Result Slip
• Six (6) passport photographs
• All other credentials which were presented during the  Post-UTME screening exercise, viz:
• Sworn Affidavit of Age Declaration/Birth Certificate
• Certificate of Origin
• Reference letter from a person of good standing in the society
• Six (6) file jackets.

Faculty Officers are please directed to guide the new students properly to ensure compliance.

Please all first year students are to also note that, after the screening exercise at the faculty, the cleared students are to proceed to the department and get a list of courses for online registration at the ICT directorate.
