Aminu Saleh is a Nigerian administrator, former Finance Minister of Nigeria, and permanent secretary in the Nigerian ministry of Defense. He became the chairman of the National Qu’ranic Recitation Committee in 2006.
He is an indigene of Bauchi State and has served in various capacities at both the state and the federal level. He served Obasanjo‘s regime in the 1970s and Abacha’s beginning in 1992.
Saleh is also the owner of a Nigerian beverage known as “Brahma and Tandi Guarana”[citation needed] and a shareholder in various Nigeria-based industries. He led the creation, establishment, funding and running of the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF). He was a member of Vision 2010.
Born in 1933 in Azare, Katagum LGA, Bauchi State, Sale attended elementary school in Azare 1941-44, Bauchi middle school 1944-49, attended clerical training college Zaria, 1950-51 attended institute of administration Zaria for diploma in accounting 1956-57. He was on an evening university degree course in University of Lagos 1963-67, he had attended post graduate course in management in University of Wisconsin in the United States
The Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare wishes to inform all prospective candidates seeking admission into the Pre-NCE programme that the sale of admission Form for has Commenced.
Admission Requirements
All Applicants seeking admission should obtain a minimum of any four passes, in not more than two sittings.
Method of Application
All applicants are to obtain their Teller at College Bursary Department at the rate of Two Thousand Naira only (N2000). The application form for admission is to be collected at the Academic Unit after presenting evidence of payment.
Applicants can also obtain their application for admission form through the College portal https://portal.ascoea.edu.ng/.
All direct entry candidates should obtain a minimum aggregate of Nine Points (09) in NCE/IJMB and a Credit in Diploma, while those seeking for admission into 100 Level must obtain a minimum of 160 JAMB UTME Cut-off Marks. All candidates must possess 5 ‘0’ Level Credits including English, Maths, and three other relevant subjects in the proposed course of study.
The candidates are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2000) only for screening. They should also come along with Original and Photocopies of their Credentials, JAMB Result Slip for 100 Level Applicants, and JAMB Registration Slip for DE Applicants. All candidates are to ensure that they upload their “O” Level Results, please.
