Dressing Guidelines for Students

PREAMBLE

The principles of Christian dressing are strictly enforced in Anchor University since it is a faith-based University.

First, Christian dressing must be natural. All dressing styles that destroy nature like putting on clothing that resemble that of opposite sexes, perming or denaturing the hair are all forbidden. Second, Christian dressing must be modest and not in the extremes to the point of distracting attention of people. Good dressing adds values to a person’s personality and it gives a sense of self-confidence and self-worth. Third, it must cover nakedness properly and should not be a source of temptation to opposite sexes. Fourth, it must be dignifying.

Proper dressing is one of the unique aspects of Anchor University culture and core values that students must imbibe to make their academic pursuit a pleasurable one. For the purpose of clarity, these guidelines are hereby presented under male and female students respectively.
