Types Of Lecturers

Of course, generally, there are so many types of lecturers in class. They include;

• The ones who never come to class
• Types who never miss a lecture
• The lecturer who is always talking about the experience they had on campus
• The one who is so-so particular about their titles
• Ones who are trying to move towards the girls in the class.
• The strict lecturers
• The wicked lecturers
• Ones who try hard to be young and current
• The lecturer who wants you to buy their own published books
• The lecturer who always takes attendance.

Don’t worry, I will make a detailed article on this one.

For the purpose of our study, we will consider the first two.

The Lecturers Who Never Come To Class

Once you have a lecturer who never comes to class, there is a tendency that he will appear just 3 days before his course will be written on the time table and fix extra class.

Then, he will explain close to 14 topics and 52 subtopics in less than 2 hours.

The funny part is that students like these types of lecturers very well.

This is because these lecturers mostly come to disclose some Areas Of Concentration for the students.

In fact some students so much love it until the 22nd of October 1901 one boy from my great grandfathers’ school named it AOC. (LOL).

Moreover, the fact that the lecturer doesn’t show up in class doesn’t mean that he doesn’t drop notes for the class rep to circulate.

Therefore, ensure you collect each of the notes copy them into your own note.

Some students just feel that since the material has been photocopied, they can just read directly from it.

This is very wrong and research has proven it to be ineffective.

• The Lecturers Who Never Miss A Lecture

• Exegetical Lecturers

This means that you have to listen very carefully so as to be able to take meaningful notes down.

In this case, don’t border about sitting with your closest friend as this may prove to be a very big problem.

Once you miss a point, it’s as good as not attending the class.

• Teaching Lecturers

From the heading, it is clear these types of lectures engage in taking your memory to old secondary school details.

They can be very boring.

This set of lecturers give a blow-by-blow circumstantial, elaborate, full and thorough explanation of the subject matter.

The crazy thing about these lecturers is that you cannot give them what they didn’t teach you.

This means you have a very high probability of failing if you don’t jot properly and in length.

It is here that you need to pay rapt attention to them and follow them up with accurate jottings.

If you have a smartphone, you can also record their speech and translate it into written words or listen to the audio over and over again.

Finally when taking notes, it is imperative that you make your work very neat.

Make sure your work has headings, subheadings and points are written in chronological order.
