Osun State University is a multi-campus university established by Osun State Government under the administration of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola. The university currently operates six campuses distributed across the six administrative/geopolitical zones of the state. Nigeria’s National Universities Commission approved Osun State University on December 21, 2006, as the 30th State University and the 80th in the Nigerian university system. This is to inform all the students (both fresh and returning) of the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date for the commencement of academic activities for the first semester academic session.

This is to announce that the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of Senate of Osun State University has approved resumption of students and other academic activities with effect from Monday 4th August, 2024

According to the newly approved UNIOSUN Academic Calendar 4th August, 2024 has been slated for the  /Commencement of lectures for returning students.

All Fresh/Newly admitted students are to resume for academic activities and registration exercise on Monday 25th August, 2024.

Harmattan Semester Lectures for all Fresh / Newly admitted students begins on Monday 1st August, 2024.

All staff and students are to comply totally with the precautionary measures put in place to guide against COVID-19 pandemic. All that are concerned can access the new academic calendar from the University website.
