The Unintended Consequences Of An Overwhelmed Student
Table of Interests
Today, you and I will as usual run through the topic “The Unintended Consequences Of An Overwhelmed Student”.
Life as a student is a lot more than just academics.
It boils down to your every life activities like how you talk, walks, dress, your personality, how you relate to people.
However, most of these things are not being taught in class.

Therefore, it’s for you to make them, arrange them, properly fix a purpose for life, have a goal to reach and always have focus.
Furthermore, a lot happens in the schooling environment both positive and negative and could even turn most positives to negatives when you get out of hand.
Through the help of Elizabeth (a 200L Student of Civil Engineering in UNIBEN), I will be able to tell you little things from this topic.
I hope you learn from it.
Well, another serious issue is that most of us don’t have an inkling as to what being a student is.
Of course, this is why we misuse opportunities when we become students.
Now, let me introduce you who a student is.

Who Is A Student
However, I will identify a student as an acronym meaning the following
S – Studios
T – Talented
U – Unique
D – Discipline
E – Eager to Learn
N – Neat
T – Technically Inclined
It suffices to note that if you lack any of these, I am sorry to say but you have to do a review on yourself and sort it out.
Likewise, I also advise you not to read meaning to these in order to suit yourself but to read meaning in response to the fact that you are getting it right.
You should also know by now what each of those words means or represent and how they work.
If you are a student you have to be mature.
You need to quickly understand that “maturity” as talked about here is how well knowlegeable you are and not how old you are.
Furthermore, let me be quick to let you know that to be a student is a very special position.
Therefore, you should never play with it or you miss out of the plan or correct purpose of your complete existence.
One major issue with students is that whenever they are introduced to something new, they get more overwhelmed than expected.
Well, this may depend on how it gets to them and when they get overwhelmed they may likely jump out of the proper line and “overdo” because they get used to this new development.
This, therefore, becomes a very big problem.
For those who are in college and those who haven’t, I can say that the first time you stepped into higher institutions another door of life is let loose.
College life is moe raw than the life in the high school because in college you undergo rebirth.
Therefore, it is up to you to know what is right.
There, you will be told that everything you ever knew had been a lie and they are replaced with new ones and oh!, you get overwhelmed by this new way you have learned and consequently get out of hand.

Then, of course, you are introduced to more boys, girls, sex, drugs, alcohol, bad gangs, and malpractice in the highest order, bribery, lies, cheats, the church you might have seen or heard about before etc, but this time, it’s worse.
You meet different persons from the angels to the ones who act possessed or something else.
But hey!, do not be deceived.
Even if you were rogue before you got to college or before you read this, it’s time to hold of your life and not be overwhelmed by such.
These things are always going to be there.
Trust me, I am not saying you shouldn’t have fun, all I am saying is that you should not let the fun have you.

Therefore, you have to be careful with your time as everything has its limit.
I know it’s overwhelming but you should know that if you miss out, you are definitely going to pay for the consequences.
This will further make you regret every bit of it for as long as it hurts you terribly.
However, the unintended consequences is that you tend to;
- Loose focus
- Fail courses, get carryovers and extra years
- become broken to pieces especially when you know nothing of the things you are doing to your image.
- become useless to yourself, parents, friends and most especially yourself.
Nevertheless, to escape this, you must;
- stay focused
- never get used to anything except your books
- watch the kind of friends you follow
- make good use of your time
- let girls be girls for you boys and girls let boys be boys as you can’t change them a bit, so therefore, don’t let them overwhelm you into losing focus
- make friends but do it with a sense
- always have God and He should always be first
- not miss out your life friends
- try to make nothing actually amaze you more than it should.
