When the peak talent hunt begins, 4 acts are normally selected by a well respected and reputable panel of judges who are normally from each zones.

Now in Nigeria we have about 6 zones which are :

  • South East
  • South South
  • South west
  • North East
  • North West
  • North center

From this political zones about 4 act will be selected (4 multiply by 6 =24)
So at the end of the day we are going to have 24 act. This 24 act will be sent to Lagos where the competition will be held.

To this end aspirant and applicant must be ready to leave their comfort zones to participate for the program.

The best performing act will be selected from the 24 by the panel of judges, what will now be left will be 12 act. This 12 act will proceed to the peak talent house where the real hot competition will be done. The program is real fun.

Note that a voting system will be adopted where viewers at home will have to vote to make everything look credible.

Nevertheless, the Peak talent hunt is about giving contestants from anywhere in the country (Nigeria) the ample opportunity to showcase any talent they have with a maximum entertainment value which is then broadcasted to all TV viewers across Nigeria and usually targeted at mother between the ages of 22-45 years in the ABC1 SEC.

Furthermore, the peak talent hunt is done to further make the above-said slogan very popular among families and create a platform where young Nigerians can discover and develop several talents in singing, dancing and what have you.

However, the participants will need to showcase their God-given talent before a panel of celebrity judges in their audition city where 4 artistes will win an all-expense-paid trip to Lagos where they will be consequently lodged in the Peak Talent Hunt House.

In addition to this, the participants will get an opportunity to receive professional training in all aspects of stage management, dance, singing and the likes.

Like I have stressed before, only 4 acts will make it through to Lagos where they will be housed in the Peak Talent House.

Although, note that the panel of judges will screen them from each of their zones and successful participants will then represent their various zones at an elimination showdown in Lagos.

Then, the 24 acts will be reduced to 12 acts through the mediums below;

Furthermore, before thinking of applying, the following criteria must be met and instructions must be followed.

  • You can only participate when you are at least 18 years of age.
  • Likewise, applicants who were absent for the first round audition may still be considered for the audition .

However, they must submit a DVD or Video clip at the sole discretion of the producer whose decision shall be final.

  • Also, the submission of an application is not a guarantee that an applicant receives an opportunity for the audition or even take part in the program.
  • Likewise, acts can be invited to audition for the series by researchers acting on behalf of the producer.

However, such acts will need to be auditioned on the same basis as any other applicant.
