The Valley View University in Oyibi ( thirty one kilometers from the Accra-Dodowa Road) serves students from all over the world.
The University admits required qualified students regardless of their religious and financial background, provided such students accept the Christian lifestyle and principles which is the basic part of the University in which it operates.
This semester’s fees schedule is effective from 1st July 2018 and valid till 30th June 2019.
For the local students, the following fee payment is applicable.
1. The currency should be in Ghana Cedis.
2. The following are the payment options for the local Ghana students: Full payment of the course fees before registration.
50 percent of the payment before registration.
80 percent of the payment before mid semester examinations.
100 percent of the payment before the final examinations.
Students/ Parents/ Guardians may apply for Special Fee Payment. For this, the contract at the office of the Student Financial Services.
3. Students who want to stay outside the campus (off-campus) can stay only after they get the permission from the Dean of Student life and services.
4. The discounts and rebates that are given by the Office of Student Financial Services are listed below: Those who give a full payment of the fees before reopening 5 percent of waiver for them. Guardian or parents who have more than one ward receive additional 5% waiver for another ward. Nursing students have the facility to register themselves with 21 credits without any additional charges. Students who register less than 12 credits may be given special discounts. The students who will accept to stay outside the campus (off-campus) will receive certain discounts.
5. The other mandatory charges that are applicable to fresh students only are as follows: An orientation and admission fee is 200.00 Ghana Cedis. Medical examination fees are 200.00 Ghana Cedis
6. Other mandatory charges which are applicable to all the students: SRC dues are 40.00 Ghana Cedis. Offsite Learning fee of 50.00 Ghana Cedis shall be paid by the students on other campuses and centers (i.e., Kumasi, Techiman, Takoradi, and Tamale).
7. Other optional charges: Students have to pay 100.00 Ghana Cedis per each extra credit hour; who have registered more than 18 credits. Students who give late registration fees have to pay a penalty of 200.00 Ghana Cedis. Students who stay two in a room will pay 200.00 Ghana Cedis extra each.
8. For all Undergraduate Students, whether they are residential or non-residential, will get 10 Saturday meals for free.
9. Special Scholarship is given by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ghana: 10 percent of total fees for certified Seventh-day Adventist students, 25 percent of total fees for certified Seventh-day Adventist theology students Local Students who want to get admission in the Valley View University have to follow the above fees policy.
