Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (formerly Rivers State University of Education) is a Nigerian university based in Rumuolumeni Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The first Vice-Chancellor of the university in 2014 was Rosemund Dienye Green-Osahogulu. The present Vice-Chancellor is Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele.
Following the announcement from the Rivers State Ministry of Education that schools should reopened today MondayAugust 4, 2024, staff and students of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education are therefore reminded that academic activities resumed on Monday August 4
Students are advised to take their studies seriously by attending classes while staff are also advised to be at their duty posts.
In line with the covid-19 protocols and guidelines, all staff and students must continue to wear facemask, wash hands or use hand sanitisers and patiently subject themselves to temperature check at the university gate before entering.
