Without wasting much of your time, lets head there right away.
How to Calculate EKSU Aggregate Score
Before we show you, please note that unlike last year, this year, EKSU will only use your O’level and JAMB Result to get the aggregate score.
Your O’level grades have the following point:
A1 = 8,
B2 = 7,
B3 = 6,
C4 = 5,
C5 = 4,
C6 = 3,
D7 = 2,
E8 = 1.
Only your five (5) compulsory subjects will be used for the screening. This means that the highest you can get in O’level is 40. Eg, if you score A1 in the five subjects you wrote, then your O’level score will be 40/40.
Since we have said that, let’s now show you how to calculate your EKSU Post utme screening score.
HOW TO CALCULATE EKSU AGGREGATE SCORE.
- Add your O’level score: Now let’s assume you have MATHS C4, ENG C6, CHEM A1, BIO A1 and PHY B2. Using the points we stated above your O’level Score should be 31/40.
- Divide your JAMB Score by 400 and multiply by 60: Assuming your JAMB Score is 280, when you divide it by 400 and multiply by 60, it will give you 42.
- Now add what you got in (1) and (2): Using our example, we should add 31+42 = 73%.
- Your answer is your EKSU aggregate score: Still following our example, the EKSU aggregate/average score will be 73%
The final aggregate score will be used for admission. If you meet your department’s aggregate score then you will be admitted, else you will not!
That’s the much we can take on the topic “How to Calculate EKSU Aggregate Score ”.
