- Admission of candidates would be determined by the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MOBSE) after determining the cut-off marks for each school.
- The Delta State Model Secondary Schools Entrance Examination for academic session was written by over 4,000 pupils. 4,152 pupils sat for the State Model School Entrance Examination for admission into JS 1, while JS 2 had 357 students for admission. 635 students sought for admission into SS 1 and 144 students for admission into SS 2.
- The examination was open to both public and private schools’ primary and secondary pupils.
