1. POST BASIC NURSING PROGRAMME (PG): Leading to award of Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate

Duration

18 Months

Entry Requirements: 

i. WAEC/NECO, GCE 0′ LEVEL SSCE with 5 Credits at not more than 2 sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
ii. Must be 18 years of age and above

Method of Application

Step 1. Visit www.nkstonline.org
Step2. Click ‘NURSING’ (Visit portal)
Step 3. A log in page displays with username and password. Click ”QUICKPAY” (it is found under the dialogue box “forget password?”)
Step 4. “My Account” will be displayed. Enter your details
– Unique identification number (enter your phone number or any number of your choice)
– Full name (surname and first name)
– Email
– Phone
– Payment item – select “admission form”
Step 5. Click “Pay Now”
Step 6. You can select “pay with card” to use your ATM card or you can select “pay with bank” to pay from your account. Follow the instructions to pay
Step 7. Print out your receipt and proceed to the Bursary department of the school to obtain your forms

2. REFRESHER PROGRAMME FOR ELIMINATED CANDIDATES: Leading to award Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate

Duration: 

1 Year

Entry Qualification: 

i. WAEC/NECO, GCE 0′ Level, SSCE with 5 credits at not more than 2 sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
ii. Must have made three (3) attempts at the Professional Examination of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria not earlier than 2008.
iii. Must be 18 years of age and above.
